Questions merchants ask
Where do creators submit content?
In the creator portal on your storefront (/apps/creatorhub/portal). They log in with their customer account – email and a 6-digit code – and see their brief, code, gift and submitted content.
How are sales attributed to a creator?
By the creator's personal discount code or by the referral link (?ref=), which sets a 30-day first-party cookie on your storefront.
When are commissions payable?
After the campaign's holding period (30 days by default), so returns and cancellations are accounted for. You record payouts in the app; the bank transfer or PayPal payment is made by you.
Where are uploaded videos stored?
In your own Shopify Files, so they are immediately usable in ads and stay with your store.
Does it work with my theme?
Yes. The application form is a theme app block and referral tracking is an app embed – add both from Online Store → Customize → Apps. The portal is served through an app proxy under your domain.
What happens to the data if I uninstall?
Shopify sends the GDPR shop/redact webhook 48 hours after uninstall and the app deletes all data for your store. See the privacy policy.
Which languages are supported?
The admin, portal and all email templates are available in English and Slovenian. Email templates are editable.
